So, Ruby has taken her first steps! And guess what she was walking towards?
Her loving momma? No.
Her adoring dadda? Nope.
Her beloved older brother? Wrong again.
Maybe our big, soft dog, Maggie? Not even.
Perhaps a favorite toy, say a doll or stuffed animal? Good try, but, no.
The television? The sixth member of the family that is always on and shouting at us? That big, loud, colorful thing? Ding, ding, ding!!
Yes, Ruby took her first steps toward the TV!! Great. She chose the TV over her family members!
I'm doing a wonderful job as a mother, huh? I'm really living up to my hopes of keeping everything "natural."
Oh, well. I have to admit I love that thing too. I just have to learn to turn it off, cut the cord!

I had a bad feeling as soon as this started:) Glad she's up and around though. I'm sort of afraid of that with Robby, which is oh so very wrong.

Great to meet you online! Cute site. I'm in for it when Kyle starts walking. He is already ripping at every possible electrical cord in the house. He gives new meaning to childproofing. He totally senses the most dangerous spot in the house!
Yeah, Ruby is going for everything too. Jude didn't at all. But I am in for it with her. It's her mission to find the most dangerous things in the house, like you said.
